The BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaic) sunroom products developed by Solar First Group have been grandly launched in Japan, attracting high attention.
After the product was launched, Japanese government officials, entrepreneurs and professionals in the photovoltaic industry flocked to the installation site for inspection and investigation.
This product was innovatively created by the R&D team of Solar First. It adopts vacuum insulation Low-E glass technology and perfectly integrates renewable Energy photovoltaic power generation into the structure of the sunroom, successfully Building a model of "Net Zero Energy Building (ZEB)".
Core patent technology
Solar First has applied for multiple patents for the BIPV technology of this application. The specific information is as follows:
1. Invention patent: Product Name - Vacuum Low-E Solar Glass for Building-integrated Photovoltaics Patent No. - 2022101496403
2. Design patent: Product Name - Photovoltaic Curtain Wall Patent No. - 2021302791041
3. Utility model patent: Product Name - A Solar Photovoltaic Curtain Wall Device Patent No. - 2021209952570
The Japanese side highly appraised:
• According to the Ryukyu Shinpo of Japan, the Ryukyu Carbon Dioxide Reduction Promotion Association regards Solar First's solar glass products as the "ace" for promoting "zero energy buildings".
• Mr. Zhu, the president of Moribeni Co., LTD., the Japanese agent of Solar First, deeply agrees with the corporate philosophy of Solar First, "New Energy, New World", and highly appreciates its spirit of focusing on innovation. President Zhu emphasized that his team will spare no effort to promote "zero-energy buildings" in Japan.
Highlights of the front page report of the Ryukyu Shinpo:
1. The model house of "power generation glass" has been completed
Members of the association (the representative of Naha City and the president of Mori Red Co., LTD., Mr. Zhu) built a "power generation glass" model house using laminated glass with power generation function. According to the association, this structure is the first of its kind to be realized in Japan. The association regards this solar glass as the "trump card" for promoting "zero-energy buildings".
2. Walls can also generate electricity
A zero-energy building (ZEB) refers to a building that maintains a comfortable living environment while maximizing energy conservation and consumption reduction, achieving self-sufficiency in building energy. Under the global trend of decarbonization, the importance of ZEB is increasingly prominent.
The roof and walls of this model house are all covered with Low-E laminated glass that integrates heat insulation, heat preservation and power generation functions. The light transmittance of the roof is 0%, and that of the walls is 40%. The installed capacity of the photovoltaic system is 2.6KW, and the indoor area is equipped with air conditioners, refrigerators, lamps and other facilities.
Solar glass can be customized with textures such as wood grain. President Zhu stated that in the context of rising electricity prices, such designs are both environmentally friendly and economical, while also meeting the requirements for heat insulation and heat preservation.
The association disclosed that eight buildings in Okinawa Prefecture are planned to be transformed into ZEB. Zukeran Tyojin, the representative of the association, pointed out that it is difficult to achieve ZEB by installing photovoltaic panels only on the rooftops of urban residential buildings. It is crucial to make effective use of the walls. He called on the public to visit the model house and build a positive understanding of ZEB.
