Solar First entered the Japanese market with Low-E BIPV photovoltaic glass

Solar First entered the Japanese market with Low-E BIPV photovoltaic glass

February 25, 2022

Since 2011, Solar First has been committed to the research and development of building Integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) glass and its practical project application. Its BIPV solutions have won a number of invention patents and utility model patents.

Solar First has cooperated with Advanced Solar Power (ASP) through the ODM agreement for as long as 12 years and has become the general agent of ASP in Asia, America and the United Kingdom.

Since its establishment, Solar First has always been a leading designer and developer in the global BIPV solution application field. With its technical support, Polysolar UK, the UK agent, won the 2021 Energy Award for its BIPV applications in many well-known buildings in the UK and overseas territories.

One of Solar First's customers in Malaysia, Nanopac (M) Sdn Bhd, with the support of its technology and products, won the Invention and Innovation Award in 2019.

In 2021, Solar First provided products and solutions for Hong Kong's first BIPV photovoltaic curtain wall and skylight project (Headquarters of the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department).

The cadmium telluride (CdTe) photovoltaic glass of Solar First has been certified by globally renowned institutions such as TUV SUD (TUV), British Standards Institution (BSI), and Micro Power Generation Product Certification Scheme (MCS).

Solar First has successfully launched Low-E photovoltaic glass: Based on the traditional design of cadmium telluride photovoltaic glass, Solar First innovatively applied Low-E glass. This technology can effectively block the heat conduction between indoors and outdoors caused by thermal radiation, thereby reducing energy consumption. Meanwhile, LOW-E glass has a high light transmittance (≥80%) and Low reflectivity for visible light in sunlight, and its optical performance is far superior to that of traditional coated glass.

Solar First entered the Japanese market with its advanced vacuum Low-E BIPV photovoltaic glass. The Glass substrates of its cadmium telluride photovoltaic glass and vacuum Low-E photovoltaic glass both adopt the products of Asahi Glass Company of Japan, integrating Japan's cutting-edge technology into its own high-tech products.

On February 11, 2022, Solar First signed an exclusive agency agreement with the renowned Japanese company モリベニ 株式会社, authorizing it as the general agent of the company in Japan.

モリベニ 株式会社 is a leading enterprise in the industry specializing in solar power generation products and LED products, and is also a pioneer in the application of BIPV in Japan, enjoying a high reputation.

Solar First has always adhered to the corporate vision of "New Energy, New World" and is committed to the cause of environmental protection and energy conservation. The company is fully confident about the future application prospects of its vacuum Low-E BIPV photovoltaic glass in the Japanese market.
