On June 16, 2022, the 3MW water-solar complementary photovoltaic project in Wuzhou, Guangxi, has entered the final sprint stage. This project is invested and developed by Wuzhou Guoneng Hydropower Development Co., LTD., a subsidiary of the National Energy Investment Group, and is contracted by the First Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. of China Energy Group. Solar First was deeply involved in the survey, design, product supply (flexible suspension cable support system), construction and installation and other links of the project.

The project is located on the south slope of a hydropower station in Wuzhou, Guangxi. The terrain in this area is complex, with steep (35-45 degrees) and irregular slopes, which bring great difficulties and challenges to positioning measurement, construction and installation, as well as safeoperation. After numerous on-site investigations, scheme discussions, designs and verifications, the technical team of Solar First Group proposed a scientific, rigorous and efficient flexible suspension cable support solution based on local conditions, ensuring the effective utilization of idle mountainous areas to the greatest extent. This plan has won high praise from the owner in terms of technical design, construction safety and efficiency.

Solar First Group is actively researching photovoltaic bracket structure technology and continuously innovating. The new technology of flexible suspension cable support was independently developed by Solar First Group and was granted a "Utility Model Patent" in May 2022. Its invention patent has entered the substantive examination stage of the National Patent Office.
