Throughout the event, Solar First Group is presenting an array of products, including its floating PV system, the HORIZON D+ intelligent tracking system, ground mounting structure, and roof mounting structure, at booth 2019-2022. Thanks to its highly dependable and versatile PV mounting solutions, the company has drawn a large number of visitors from Malaysia and Southeast Asia for exchanges and discussions. Centered on renewable energy, green building, environmental technology, and sustainable development, the exhibition gathers policymakers, project developers, technology providers, and industry specialists, establishing an effective platform for business cooperation across the Malaysian and ASEAN markets.

Full-Scenario Mounting Solutions, Precisely Tailored to Malaysia's Diverse PV Scenarios
At this exhibition, Solar First Group highlighted its extensive portfolio of mounting solutions that span floating (water-based), ground, and rooftop applications.
Designed for Malaysia's context—marked by plentiful water resources and constrained land availability—the floating photovoltaic system employs highly weather-resistant floaters and a dependable anchoring design, making it appropriate for diverse water scenarios such as reservoirs, lakes, and former mining ponds. The system includes a straightforward rail and front/rear support structure that guarantees rapid and efficient installation; module spacing can be easily adjusted to suit various tilt angle requirements, and cable routing can be tailored based on site layout. It accommodates multiple anchoring options, including underwater piles, concrete piles, and shore anchors. The U-steel connector adopts a hinged design that efficiently disperses environmental loads—such as wind and wave forces—thus improving the system's overall stability. Verified by third-party institutions, the system delivers outstanding floater strength and reliability, guaranteeing the long-term, stable operation of the floating solar plant.
The HORIZON D+ Intelligent Tracking System is a multi-point driven horizontal single-axis tracking system for large ground-mounted solar plants, introduced by Solar First Group. Employing a 2P electrical multi-drive solution, the system transitions from single-point drive to multi-point drive, substantially improving system torsional resistance and critical wind speed, while effectively lowering pile foundation costs. It is able to tackle the challenges presented by strong winds in Malaysia's tropical climate. Via closed-loop time control and GPS tracking modes, the system smartly and swiftly fine-tunes tracking angles with a precision of less than 2 degrees. The system is suitable for most mainstream photovoltaic modules and can easily align with design requirements for solar plants of various scales. Regarding adaptability, HORIZON D+ can handle continuously rolling and irregular terrains, satisfying the design requirement of a 15% slope in the north-south direction. The system uses one-to-one independent control, allowing real-time monitoring of the bracket operation status, prompt identification of fault points, and a decrease in power generation losses. It enables automatic reset at night, automatic reset in high winds, and reverse tracking functions, additionally safeguarding system safety and power generation efficiency. The product offers outstanding long-term corrosion resistance and provides foundation choices including PHC piles, cast-in-place piles, or steel piles, fitting various geological conditions in Malaysia.
The roof mounting structure provides a wide-ranging selection of products suited to the mainstream roof types in Malaysia's commercial, industrial, and distributed photovoltaic (PV) markets. These comprise metallic roof clamps, tile roof hooks, concrete flat roof ballast systems, BIPV (Building-Integrated Photovoltaics) structures, along with walkways. They satisfy the PV installation needs of various building structures. Solar First Group's roof mounting products conform to Malaysia's roof waterproofing requirements, guaranteeing waterproof performance after installation on multiple roof types such as metallic roofs, tile roofs, and concrete flat roofs. Installation is easy and effective. The BIPV structures merge PV modules with building roofs, blending power generation functionality with architectural aesthetics. The walkways offer a safe maintenance channel for rooftop PV power stations, improving the convenience of daily inspections and maintenance.
The ground mounting structure covers both PHC (Prestressed High-strength Concrete) pile solution and slope-adjustable mount solution, providing flexible adaptability to Malaysia's diverse geological and topographical conditions. The PHC pile solution uses prestressed high-strength concrete piles instead of traditional concrete foundations; offering high load-bearing capacity and corrosion resistance, it is ideal for soft soil foundations—such as marshlands and coastal mudflats—as well as fishery-PV complementary projects. The slope-adjustable mount solution includes two foundation options—screw piles and C-steel piles—and is purpose-built for undulating or irregular terrain; it allows flexible, efficient installation, thus substantially lowering construction costs. Through the use of high-strength materials and an optimized structural design, the system guarantees structural stability while enabling flexible configuration based on specific project requirements, offering reliable support for utility-scale photovoltaic projects.
Malaysia's Energy Transition Accelerates, Unleashing Sustained Demand for Multi-Scenario Mounting Solutions
The Malaysian government is propelling renewable energy development through policy frameworks such as the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) and the Large-Scale Solar (LSS) program, targeting renewables to make up 70% of total power generation by 2050. Recently, the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) initiated the tender process for the LSS program, aiming to promote the development of various photovoltaic projects—including rooftop, ground, and floating structures—with capacities spanning from 10 MW to 500 MW.

In the rooftop PV sector, the Solar Accelerated Transition Action Plan (Solar ATAP), which officially took effect on January 1, 2026, has additionally sped up the adoption of rooftop PV projects. The ATAP programme permits factories to install rooftop PV systems dimensioned to equal their own maximum electricity demand, with a capacity limit of up to 100%. The government has also rolled out the SuRIA Home programme, offering households that install Solar ATAP systems a cash rebate of up to RM600 per kW, projected to serve 45,000 to 50,000 households. Malaysia has roughly 410,000 buildings with a rooftop solar market potential surpassing 3.5 GW.
In the floating PV and PV ground power plant sectors, Malaysia is rich in water resources, and floating PV has been included in the LSS tender scope, signaling a transition from technical validation to large-scale development. Solar First Group keeps expanding its presence in the Southeast Asian new energy market. With product designs adapted to tropical climates and complex terrains, along with localized service capabilities, the company offers Malaysian customers end-to-end mounting solutions covering from conceptual design to on-site support.

Deepen the Market Layout in Southeast Asia and Support the Development of Green Energy in Malaysia
During the exhibition, the Solar First Group team participated in in-depth discussions with EPC contractors, project developers, and industry organizations from Malaysia and neighboring countries, examining the specific characteristics of local projects, policy trends, and opportunities for collaboration. Drawing on its deep understanding of local regulations and engineering standards, as well as its stable performance in multiple projects across Southeast Asia, Solar First Group has gained the recognition and trust of its clients.
IGEM 2026 not only offers a platform for Solar First Group to engage deeply with industry partners in Malaysia and Southeast Asia but also highlights the company's diverse product portfolio and its strengths in delivering scenario-specific solutions for full-scenario photovoltaic (PV) mounting systems. Going forward, Solar First Group remains dedicated to its brand philosophy of "New Energy, New World." Fueled by R&D innovation and supported by robust supply chain and delivery capabilities, the company will keep improving its products and services, delivering highly reliable and adaptable system solutions for PV projects in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, thus aiding the region's clean energy transition.
